Great news, the General Conference 2022 has been officially certified as a 'Green Event Tirol' by the Klimabündnis (Climate Alliance) Tirol. It will also be the first explicitly eco-friendly ECPR conference.
Together with our local organising team at the University of Innsbruck, we are prioritising eco-friendly initiatives to make the conference sustainable.
Please support these efforts by considering your environmental footprint at the conference.
We are committed to reducing all waste, particularly plastic.
For instance, at evening events hosted by our local organisers, we'll serve beer and wine in returnable cups.
Using these cups, you'll support ISSBA – a local non-profit organisation helping people get back into the workplace. We'll also use disposable tablecloths only where it's unavoidable.

Get on a bike! Cycling is one of the best ways to explore Innsbruck. Rental bikes are available from several rental stations throughout the city.
We'll serve only locally sourced vegetarian and vegan food at all conference receptions. Wine, beer and other drinks are sourced from regional producers and (mostly) organic.

The ECPR community is diverse, and we aim to make our conference as accessible and inclusive as possible. All conference buildings have step-free access and an all-gender toilet.
